These terms govern your use of Plant Rescue, operated by Mariano Jalif. By using the app you agree to them.

Plant Rescue is not professional advice

The app uses an AI model to suggest what might be wrong with a plant. It can be confidently wrong. Treat its answers as a starting point, not a diagnosis. Do not rely on it for decisions about valuable, rare, or commercially grown plants, and check any product it suggests against that product's own label and your local regulations before applying it.

Nothing in the app is medical, veterinary, or safety advice. Some plants and treatments are harmful to people and animals. You are responsible for what you apply and how you handle it.

Subscriptions

• A subscription unlocks diagnoses subject to service rate limits. Price and billing period are shown in the app before you buy.
• Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Your Apple Account is charged within 24 hours before each renewal.
• Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
• Payment is handled by Apple. Refunds are Apple's to grant under the Apple Media Services Terms; we cannot issue them.

Acceptable use

Use the app for its purpose: looking after plants. Do not attempt to break, overload, or work around the usage limits of our service, resell access to it, or use it to process content that is unlawful. We may limit or end access that does these things.

Availability

The app depends on services we do not control, including Anthropic's API and Apple's. It may be unavailable, and features may change or be withdrawn. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Liability

Plant Rescue is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for damage to plants, property, health, or business arising from your use of the app or reliance on its output. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
